The Phaseo-Elements are a unique system developed and patented by Orange Climate, contributing sustainably to improving the indoor climate. The Phaseo Elements are a Phase Change Material (PCM) product, comprising a hard HDPE element infused with an environmentally friendly inorganic salt mixed with water. The unique composition of the element allows natural temperature control within a space.

Operation of Phaseo Elements The unique composition of the Phaseo element turns a ceiling into a thermal accumulator. The material absorbs heat and melts at a predetermined temperature, retaining this heat. During the melting process, the material absorbs significant amounts of heat from the surroundings, resulting in a cooler space. When the outside temperature drops below the programmed value, the material solidifies, releasing heat back into the surroundings, thereby warming the space again.

Easy Installation The Phaseo Elements consist of hard HDPE packs with standard dimensions of 300 x 70 mm. These elements are placed on panels during the construction process, making the installation of Phaseo Elements extremely straightforward and contributing to a faster construction process. Sustainability, fire safety & certification

Production and Environment

The production of all ceiling products adheres to the TAIM standard (Technischer Arbeitskreis Industrieller Metalldeckenhersteller). During the manufacturing process of climate elements, only minimal production waste is generated, and the base material is fully utilized. During soldering operations for the MeandRo element, the released gases are meticulously extracted and filtered according to the strictest standards. All components of the ceiling and climate element can be easily separated by material type and recycled into high-quality raw materials. The Inteco climate ceiling is highly suitable for projects requiring certification compliance, such as BREEAM.

Fire Safety

Determining whether a construction product falls into Euroclass B, C, or D requires two tests: the SBI test and the Ignitability of Small Flame test. Fire safety classification follows EN 13501-1. This process determines the fire class based on the results of the flammability test, the values for fire growth, and total heat production determined in the SBI test. The fire class for our CSP panels and the Phaseo climate ceiling is: fire class (B), smoke class (s1), droplet class (d0).
